Keeping residents safe is our highest priority. That is why we have reviewed our approach to landlord health and safety. We are seeking your views on the following policy areas:

  • Fire
  • Water (Legionella)
  • Electrical
  • Asbestos
  • Lifts
  • Gas Safety

Within the policies we set out how often we inspect our homes and how we manage health and safety risks associated with the areas listed above. These six policies do not apply to some of our homes, for example, homes built after 1999 do not have asbestos and therefore do not require this policy. If you are unclear about which policies apply to your own home, please contact us and we will be happy to provide further advice and support.

The overall aim of these policies is to clearly set out how we manage each of these health and safety risks in your home, and what our approach is to comply with health and safety rules in your building. Your safety is our highest priority and these policies strengthen our approach for colleagues and residents.

We want to hear from residents about how clear these policies are and how we can ensure all residents have access to them and can benefit from living in a safer home.
