Tower Hamlets Council is carrying out a consultation to consider proposed name changes to three wards in the borough.
Suggestions have been put forward to change:
The consultation is in response to views made during the council’s Polling Places and Polling District Review, which concluded in January 2020.
Changing the names of electoral wards falls outside the scope of the Polling Places and Polling Districts Review and follows a separate legal process.
The law requires the council to consult on potential changes to ward names before they are considered for a decision.
The survey runs until 5pm, Tuesday 2 February 2021.
The survey is simple and easy to use - and should take around 5-10 minutes to complete.
If you're new to completing surveys online, we would encourage you to ask someone you live with (or someone you come into safe contact with, such as a carer) to assist you with this platform in person or over the phone.
