Consultation has concluded

The purpose of this project is to increase the provision of pedestrian crossing facilities along Marsh Wall, by making improvements to several crossings including installing signalised crossings, installing new zebra crossings and other traffic calming measures, undertaking footway improvements, bus layby improvements, installing electric vehicles charging points, cycle parking around shops and parades. The project will also deliver environmental improvements such as rain gardens as part of a sustainable urban drainage system, tree planning etc.

We are also looking to increase traffic calming measures by implementing sinusoidal speed humps on Millharbour and Cassilis Road and are seeking residents' views on the proposal.
