Tower Hamlets Council is consulting all interested parties including parents and community groups on its school admissions arrangements for the 2025-26 school year.
The aim is to improve the school admission process for Tower Hamlets schools, so that it is fair and that as many parents as possible gain a place for their child at one of their preferred schools. We would like your views on the following:

Nursery School/Class Oversubscription Criteria
Primary Schools Oversubscription Criteria
Secondary Schools Oversubscription Criteria
Proposed Schemes for Co-ordinated Admissions to:
the Reception Year of Primary School;
the Year 7 of Secondary School; and
In-Year (admissions outside of the normal points of entry)

When changes are proposed to school admission arrangements, admission authorities must consult on the arrangements that will apply to applications the following school year.
Tower Hamlets is consulting on changes to admission arrangements for 2025-26.
