Pharmacy Needs Assessment - stakeholders
The Pharmaceuitcal Needs Assessment is an important document that helps assess whether local pharmacy services meet the current and future health needs of the population.
Used by NHS organisations to inform decisions about pharmacy services, including new pharmacy applications, relocations, and changes to existing contracts.
As part of the statutory PNA process, we are inviting feedback from stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, community organisations, patient representatives, and residents.
Your views will help ensure that the assessment accurately reflects local health needs, pharmacy provision, accessibility, and community experiences.
This consultation is open for 60 days. We encourage you to review the draft PNA attached and share your comments, observations, and suggestions. Your feedback will be carefully considered before the final PNA is approved and published.
Thank you for helping us ensure that local pharmaceutical services continue to meet the needs of our communities.
