Poverty Review: Call for evidence

Introduction

We are seeking views on poverty in Tower Hamlets, especially its impact on children and older people. We are inviting evidence as well as the experiences and opinions of our residents, local partners, and others.

Responses to this call for evidence will inform our poverty review. A report on the findings from this call for evidence will be published on this page in September 2021.

Work on the review is being led by Councillor Mufeedah Bustin, Cabinet Member for Planning and Social Inclusion (job share).

Who do we want to hear from

We welcome contributions from anyone, especially residents who may have experience of living with a low-income and anyone whose finances have been impacted negatively by COVID-19.

We also welcome contributions from those who volunteer, or work in Tower Hamlets, and others who may have an idea or evidence to share that can inform our review into poverty in Tower Hamlets.

The call for evidence will run from Monday 10 May to Monday 21 June (extended from: Monday 7 June 2021).
