Consultation

27 November 2025 00:00 - 6 January 2026 00:00

Tower Hamlets Council is looking to expand its electric vehicle-charging network to further support the adoption of low emission electric vehicles and reduce air pollution across the borough. The Council is proposing to install rapid (50kw-200kw) electric vehicle charge points across the borough which will charge a standard electric vehicle in 30 minutes to an hour.

Proposed rapid charger supplied and managed by Believ

This consultation

Tower Hamlets Council is carrying out a statutory consultation as required by Section 17 the London Local Authorities and Transport for London Act (2013) to install rapid chargers points at the locations below (click the link for each location below for the consultation leaflet). The chargers will located to ensure as many residents and businesses are as close as possible to a rapid charger and are also determined by the suitability of the on-street space.
