The London Borough of Tower Hamlets has appointed Fleet Architects to develop proposals to refurbish and extend the former Cherry Trees School building at 68 Campbell Road, London E3 4EA.
The Proposal: A Specialist Adult Day Provision and Community Hub
The former Cherry Trees school which provided specialist education for children with special educational needs, has been vacant since 2021. The proposals will bring the building back into use as a specialist adult day provision and community hub for people with learning disabilities and support needs. The scheme includes refurbishment of the existing building and a small extension to provide improved activity and therapy spaces, better accessibility and improved outdoor areas.
