Buxton Street Housing Proposals

The London Borough of Tower Hamlets has appointed Archio

architects to develop proposals for three family-sized homes

for social rent, just off Buxton Street. A planning application is

currently being prepared to demolish the existing disused former

premises manager’s house and redevelop the site to help meet

the Council’s need for larger affordable family homes across the

borough. The proposals have been carefully designed to respond

to the surrounding context, creating a strong relationship with the

existing properties along Buxton Street while delivering new highquality, sustainable places to live.
