Restore the Bartlett Adventure Playground and do not pack in yet more houses

Open spaces for children are sorely needed in the area. Augusta street is an exceedingly densely packed neighbourhood already. The community does not need denser housing or another tower. Restore the Bartlett Adventure Playground - a bright clean space where younger and older kids can play and expend their energy. This will truly benefit this community.

More housing on a very populated area with high number of children. Let's focus in provide better services for the people already living in the area instead of adding more houses

Additional housing is important, but housing is flawed if the neighbourhood amenities that allow happy living are not there. I support the proposal for additional space for children to play. There is a tiny playground on Ellesmere St. that would not easily accomodate another 100 homes.
Also Tower Hamlets is already the most densely populated authority in England with some 16.7K residents per square kilometre. The councils priority should be on providing excellent services for the existing residents rather than necessarily looking for more. Particularly given the more than 3500 new homes approved and being built near Canary Wharf. If not enough of these are affordable, then that is a flaw in the planning process.

Agreed, that is 100 new homes worth of people in an already densely populated area.
