Fish island pharmacy

From "Pharmacy Needs Assessment"

Go to the project

We really need a pharmacy on Fish Island - the nearest are currently Roman Road or Westfield, which is too far, especially considering there are no GPs or dentists on Fish Island either

Agree. Much needed!

Agreed, we’re lacking a pharmacy in the area and have to travel distant, busy or awkward routes to get to one (especially difficult with children).

In this area in the next 2/3 years there will be hundreds of new people joining the area and a new pharmacy is a key business to have in fish island to support the current residents and the new one that will be joining, there is no pharmacy in Hackney wick so the pharmacy of fish island can be key for people in that area as well. In the area there are also lots of family with children so a pharmacy is very important

Agreed - there are so many new properties popping up too the need is increasing. I have a 1 year old and it’s near impossible when he’s sick to get to a pharmacy and back

Seconded - an essential service needed for the area

Yes! Given how quickly the population of Fish Island is growing, we need a pharmacy.

I second this proposal as the community keep growing and the newest pharmacist is in Roman’s road or Stratford Westfield

Agree and as others have said this is an area with a significant amount of car free development, incoming residents and a lack of other services
